Sometimes children may need to stay off school if they are poorly. The office need to be informed so please phone by 10.00am.

Prescribed Medication
Hove Learning Federation will administer medicine that has been prescribed by a doctor, dentist, nurse prescriber or pharmacist prescriber. Medicines should always be provided in the original container as dispensed by a pharmacist and include the prescriber’s instructions for administration. The following must be clearly shown on the label:
Child’s name, date of birth
Name and strength of medication
Dose
Expiry dates whenever possible
Dispensing date/pharmacists’ detail
Where possible, medicine should be given out of school hours.
Non-Prescribed Medication
If deemed safe and in the child’s best interest the school will administer non prescribed medicine.
