School Council

West Hove Infant School has a very successful school council which is made up of two children from each class, including Year One and Year Two. These children are democratically elected at the beginning of the school year by the rest of their class. The school councillors take on all sorts of roles within school, making fundraising decisions and helping with other schools events as well as helping to make the school an enjoyable environment for everyone. The school councillors meet once a month to discuss important school issues. They then report back to their class what was discussed at the meeting.

The comments and ideas of every school councillor are discussed and everyone gets the chance to enjoy their role.
